How do I apply?

How to apply

  • Complete the Tutor Application (online form or emailed application, depending on what’s listed on our site/posting).

  • Attach your resume highlighting tutoring/teaching experience, relevant coursework, certifications, and any youth mentoring or coaching work.

  • Include a short cover note that answers:

    • Which subjects/grade levels you tutor (ex: K–5 reading, middle school math, SAT/ACT, etc.)

    • Your tutoring style and how you build student confidence

    • Your weekly availability (days/times) and whether you can tutor in-person, online, or both

  • Provide references (professional or academic) who can speak to your reliability and ability to work with students.

  • Background check readiness: Be prepared to complete any required screening/background check steps (especially for roles working with minors).

What happens next

  • Our team will review your application and reach out to schedule a brief interview.

  • You may be asked to complete a short skills/teaching demonstration (example: explaining a concept or walking through a sample lesson).

  • If selected, you’ll receive onboarding details, tutoring expectations, and scheduling next steps.
